What is a house concert? In English In Spanish EnSpanglish
A House Concert is a concert of stories told at a house. Your house, my house, or a friend's house. You can think of it as a potluck or you can think of it as a gift.
How does it work? Say that you missed the Ottawa StoryTellers Christmas show at the NAC's Fourth Stage. You call the Ottawa StoryTellers and ask whether the Christmas tellers might be available to tell those Christmas stories at your house. Or Christmas Party. Or at someone else's house or Christmas Party. If we can, we will!
Say that you loved the stories you heard me or another Ottawa StoryTeller tell at The Tea Party and you'd like to hear them again. Or give them as a gift to a good friend who wasn't there.
Say that it's your birthday. Or someone else's birthday. Your anniversary. Your wedding? Say you have just moved to a new place. When it comes to celebrations, the sky is the limit! Think story and contact your favourite tellers.
